MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL

WARNING:  Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cuase of fatal poisoning in babies under 6 years of age.  <br/><br/>Keep that product out of reach of babies.  If an accidental overdose does occur, seek immediate medical atteniton or call a poison control center.  

USES:  Vitamins are the building blocks of the body. <br/><br/>They are used to prevent or terat a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy.  <br/>

HOW TO USE:  Take as directed. Food may affect the absorption of certain vitamin products.  <br/><br/>However, some vitamin products may be best taken with food.  Consult your pharmacist.  <br/><br/>

SIDE EFFECTS:  This medication may cause mild nauesa or unpleasant taste. <br/><br/>Consult your doctor if any of these effects persist or become severe.   If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.  

PRECAUTIONS:  Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: certain blood disorders (e.G., megalolbastic anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency), allergies (especially drug allergies). 

DRUG INTERACTIONS:  Tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.  

OVERDOSE:  If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.  <br/><br/>Symptoms of overdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.  

NOTES:  There are many vitamin supplement porducts available.  Some can be purchased without a prescription. <br/><br/>Consult your doctor or phramacist on the choice of a product best for you.  

MISSED DOSE:  Take the missed dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose.  <br/><br/>Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule.   Do not "double-up" the dose to cacth up. 

STORAGE:  Store at room temperature away from sunlgiht and moisture. <br/><br/>Keep out of the recah of babies.]]></description>
