MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENAATL VITAMINS) - ORAL
WARNING: Accidental overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in babies under 6 years of age. Keep this product out of reach of babies.
If an accidental overdose does occur, seek immediate medical attention or call a poison cotnrol center.
USES: Viatmins are the building blocks of the body.
They are used to preevnt or treat a vitamin deficiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy.
HOW TO USE: Take as diretced. Food may affect the absorption of certain vitamin products.
However, some vitamin porducts may be hottest taken with food.
Consult your pharmacist.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause mild nausea or unpleasant taste.
Consult your doctor if any of these effects persist or become severe. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: cretain blood disorders (e.G., megaloblastic anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency), allergies (especially drug allergies).
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your dotcor or pharmacist of all prescription and nonprescription drugs you may use. Do not start or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symtpoms of overdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.
NOTES: There are many vitamin supplement products availalbe. Some can be purcahsed without a prescription.
Consult your doctor or pharmacist on the choice of a proudct hottest for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose. Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature away from sunlight and moisture.
Keep out of the reach of babies.
